Front of House: Meat Cutter
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Some BBQ Experience required.
- Butchering, Seasoning, Wrapping, Knife Skills..
- Consistency and Reliability.
- Positive Attitude, Great Communicator, and Strong Work Ethic..
- Values Teamwork and flexibility.
- Have a keen eye for quality and consistency, with the ability to multitask quickly, yet thoroughly.
- Be at least 18 years of age, take correction well, eager to learn.
- Ability to lift and carry 15-30 lbs and stand for long periods of time
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Proficiently prepare and cut various types of meat, including brisket, ribs, sausage, and other BBQ meats, by following established procedures and guidelines to maintain quality and consistency.
- Adhere to strict safety and hygiene protocols in handling, storing, and cutting meat to ensure the highest levels of food safety and sanitation in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly sanitized to optimize efficiency and safety during meat cutting.
- Communicate effectively with other staff members to fulfill customer orders, maintain an organized workflow, and ensure smooth operations in the meat block area.
- Line Control: Keep up with the fast-paced ordering procedure with top notch customer service, while having your head on a swivel to produce the top BBQ meat cuts .
- Provide excellent hospitality by greeting customers, assisting with inquiries, and addressing concerns or issues in a polite and professional manner.
- Ability and willingness to complete any other assigned tasks asked for by the management team
